We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineering professional to join our team and drive the success of key initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead engineering activities aligned with project objectives, gather and analyze critical data, and develop progress reports and plans that keep stakeholders informed. You’ll play a vital role in monitoring timelines, identifying risks, and escalating issues when needed to ensure smooth execution and delivery. What You Will Do

+ Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.

+ Oversee and coordinate the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.

+ Liaise between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.

+ Prepare proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

+ Review project and budget status, manage schedules and prepare reports.

+ Monitor and assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.

+ Represent RTX as the primary customer contact for projects.

+ Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

+ Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product development, integration and test.

+ Responsible for procurement of appropriate development hardware used for testing and development.

+ Meet program schedules and budgets. Provide input to the integrated master schedule for project(s).

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field

+ Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

+ Knowledge/Experience: Practical knowledge managing complex projects and working with cross functional teams.
