The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

The candidate is excited to work with limited supervision and participate as a technical lead of a scrum development team. They come to work with the business and technical objectives and schedule in mind that require their designing, coding, deploying, testing, and technical support and collaboration.

What You Will Do:

+ Operate as a point of escalation for code reviews and technical issues.

+ The successful candidate would assist developers and customers in connecting the technical solution to the end-use case.

+ They drive unit and system level automated and or manual test plans and documentation of results in the designated tools.

+ Manage demonstrations the teams' work in front of business partners.

+ Partner with Architects to develop rough order of magnitudes (ROMs) for enhancements, integrations or administering a new application.

+ Support Architects with roadmaps to align compatibility and compliant software stacks.

+ Support team members, submit work for code review, and adjust to deliver the best business value to the organization.

+ Identify and communicate system-wide opportunities, dependencies and risks.

Qualifications you must have :

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college with a major in Computer Science, related engineering or science field or Business with relevant professional experience, will consider equivalent professional related experience on the basis of two (2) additional years of experience for each one (1) year of higher education.

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software developer customizing Windchill products (PDMLink, MPMLink) for enhancements and break fix

+ Experience with Windchill integration development and tools (Windchill REST Services, SOAP) and in monolithic and clustered Linux environments

+ Experience working in Agile/Scrum team implementing methodologies/tools (Jira, Confluence)

+ Experience in using the following for modification of Windchill: Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, XSD, XSLT, Cucumber, Selenium, Junit and DevOps Tools (Jenkins, Git)

Qualifications we prefer:

+ Experience with Engineering architecture and design concepts especially in the US Aerospace and defense sector.

+ Troubleshoot/Debug development issues, including raising support tickets with 3rd parity vendors as needed

+ Ability to develop and maintain solutions that support multiple deployable configurations from a single codebase.

+ Ability to work effectively translate business requirements and communicate technical information to developers, and present information to non-technical stakeholders

+ Experience leading a scaled agile framework team to deliver automated solutions and work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization

This position is REMOTE

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
