    The Opportunity:

    The DevOps SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of multiple applications. Assist the development team with SQL tuning, code development, and debugging SQL functions/packages/triggers. This requires strong SQL development skills.

     

    **REMOTE for 4 days and must be onsite on Wednesdays in Washington, DC!** (Expenses are not covered)

    Responsibilities:

    + Support production environment during off-hours and weekends; candidate must be willing to provide on-call support on a rotating basis.

    + Develop, maintain, and tune T-SQL code and SSIS packages.

    + Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.

    + Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.

    + Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + US Citizenship is required and obtain Public Trust.

    + Ability to write extensive and complex T-SQL code.

    + Demonstrated experience working with SSIS packages and SSMS.

    + SQL Performance Tuning strategies.

    + Familiarity with Data Warehouse architecture.

    _Desired:_

    + Windows 2019 SQL Server DBs and above.

    + Demonstrated experience with Windows.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $75,200-$158,100
