Are you a passionate nursing professional with a talent for teaching and inspiring others? We are seeking a **System Professional Development Specialist – RN - NICU** to join our dynamic team. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a clinical expert and educator, designing and delivering innovative learning experiences that elevate nursing practice and improve patient outcomes across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
As a **Professional Development Specialist** , you will:
+ **Facilitate Learning:** Design and implement education using adult learning principles and data-driven needs assessments.
+ **Drive Change:** Lead transformation initiatives using evidence-based change management strategies.
+ **Mentor & Lead:** Support the growth of nursing staff through mentorship, preceptorship, and leadership.
+ **Champion Inquiry:** Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement in clinical education.
+ **Support Transitions:** Guide nurses through role transitions with individualized learning plans.
+ **Collaborate Across Teams:** Partner with clinical and operational leaders to align education with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Education:
+ **Required:** Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
+ **Preferred:** Master’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field
Experience:
+ **Required:** Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, including teaching, coaching, or precepting
+ **Preferred:** 1 year of formal education experience
Licensure & Certifications:
+ **Required:**
+ Current MN RN License
+ BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (American Heart Assoc)
+ **Preferred:**
+ ANCC Certification in Nursing Specialty
+ ANPD Certification

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
