Job Summary:
Position Overview: Director, Biopsy Portfolio - Upstream Marketing Team
This leadership role within the Upstream Marketing team will be responsible for shaping the future of the Biopsy Portfolio for the global organization. As the business owner, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the value proposition of Breast & Skeletal Health, positioning the portfolio for above-market growth.
The Director, Biopsy, will have the unique opportunity to define the product and commercial strategy for a high-growth portfolio, driving organizational alignment, securing investment, and delivering on the mission of improving breast cancer care.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop a comprehensive business plan for the Biopsy franchise by leveraging data to identify unmet user needs and market opportunities, prioritized and communicated in the annual Strategic Plan.
Translate insights into actionable roadmaps that guide New Product Development (NPD), Business Development (BD), and commercial strategies.
Collaborate closely with R&D, downstream marketing, and sales to ensure the plan inspires direction and drives meaningful activities.
Market & Revenue Modeling:
Partner with the Portfolio Team and Commercial Analytics Analyst to create a reliable, centralized source of truth for market and revenue data.
Continuously monitor and report on changes in the competitive landscape to ensure informed decision-making.
New Product Development:
Lead the cross-functional franchise team in the development and execution of all NPD projects within the portfolio.
Define and manage research plans for active NPD initiatives, guiding Marketing, R&D, and other teams through the research process.
Own financial modeling, customer/market research, and product decisions to ensure commercial success with each launch.
Market Insights & Pre-Commercialization Leadership:
Develop accessible tools, best practices, and streamlined processes to support pre-commercialization activities.
Provide coaching on tool and source selection and assist in creating materials for cross-functional teams.
Build repeatable processes with supporting templates, training, and standardized structures for future scalability.
Talent Development:
Take responsibility for recruiting, hiring, and developing high-performing team members with the potential to advance their careers within Hologic.
This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the Biopsy Portfolio while contributing to the broader mission of transforming breast cancer care through innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
Experience
Commercial experience with demonstrated success (quota achievement) over-time
Practical Experience with Health Care Systems and national account.
Skills
Strong customer centric energetic and visionary leader with excellent business acumen.
Deep knowledge of BSH product portfolio, history of development, evolution and their use in clinical practice.Familiar with underlying product technology.
Clear understanding of the women health continuum of care.
Strong background in Hospital Infrastructures, Clinical Operations, Workflows and Practices.
Able to articulate a multi-year strategy into actionable initiatives to drive revenue year over year.
Some level of technical acumen is recommended.
Exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness, initiative, and vision
Strong influence management skills.
Strong ability to create and deliver presentations.
Highly collaborative; demonstrated ability to effectively work in a matrixed environment.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with ability to interact and influence key stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
Additional Information:
+ The annualized base salary range for this role is $147,400 to $262,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
