What will you do?

A day in the life of a Senior Accounting Analyst at VF looks a little like this.

As part of VF Accounting team, this position is responsible for high level financial reporting to senior finance management and to various external entities in accordance with the required accounting standards and regulations. This position is assigned to a combination of internal and external reporting and analysis responsibilities and financial accounting projects. The Senior Accounting Analyst also assists with the monthly forecast, annual budget process and the 5-year strategic plan process for the brands they support.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

+ Responsible for month end closing, by preparing and entering closing journal entries.

+ Accountable for analyzing and interpreting month end results and consolidating variance explanations.

+ Prepares, coordinates, and distributes the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated reporting package to internal management and VF Corporate; assists in preparation of quarterly reporting presentations to VF Corporate.

+ Prepares account reconciliations of assigned accounts for the Coalition and prepares analysis and reporting on all reconciled accounts.

+ Supports key planning activities, including assisting with the monthly forecast, the annual budget process and the 5-year strategic plan process.

+ Manages ad hoc reports and supports special financial projects as needed.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel, including a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

+ Ability to work independently

+ Must be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

+ **_Location requirement: While this position is fully remote, the ideal candidate will reside within Wisconsin._**

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

+ CPA or CMA license

+ SAP experience

Hiring Range** **:

$60,000.00 USD - $75,000.00 USD annually

**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
