    Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a Credentialing Analyst II to join the team. This role will be responsible for reviewing medical provider applications for privileges within the hospital.

     

    Ideal candidates should be proficient with MS Office Suite, highly organized and be able to meet deadlines.

     

    Administrative responsibilities will include scheduling and facilitating both in person and virtual meetings.

     

    Monday-Friday, hybrid position. 7:30a-4p

     

    2 days remotely, 3 days in office.

    The Medical Staff Services Department of Alton Memorial Hospital main purpose is to manage all medical staff activities including medical staff quality improvement programs. This includes managing effective and efficient systems to support the medical s

    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

     

    Performs activities related to the entities and other affiliated instruction's credential verification process for initial and reappointment applications for medical staff and allied health professionals. Provides support to the Credentialing Lead and may oversee additional responsibilities in the absence of the Credentialing Lead, including mentoring and training the Credentialing Analyst I.

    Responsibilities

    + Verifies that credentials of medical staff, mid-level, and allied health professionals are in compliance with regulatory bodies, federal, and state agencies.

    + Maintains accurate data in credential database and permanent credential files.

    + Collaborates with medical staff and leadership to ensure credentialing and processing standards are being met.

    + Provides credentialing reports and maintains data integrity within credentialing systems.

    + Facilitates problem solving and operating system boards while participating in sub-committees created for ongoing process improvement

    Minimum Requirements

    Education

    + High School Diploma or GED

    Experience

    + 2-5 years

    Supervisor Experience

    + No Experience
