    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Backend Java Developer to join one of the world's leading online payment platform companies based in San Jose, CA. This is a compliance platform team, who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating responses to global regulatory changes that impact the company. This team tracks evolving regulations across jurisdictions, assess business and technology impacts and drive timely implementation to ensure compliance.

     

    This team enables he company to stay ahead of regulatory developments and maintain operation readiness in a rapidly changing global environment.

     

    Youll be part of a dynamic and evolving landscape, where you can apply your expertise and make meaningful contributions to our platform, leveraging AI/ML solutions to drive greater efficiency. In this role, you will start by reviewing global regulatory changes and assessing their potential impact on our products and operations. Youll collaborate closely with legal, compliance, product and engineering teams to scope requirements, prioritize initiatives and track implementation progress. You day may involve leading cross-functional meetings, managing timelines for regulatory deliverables, and advising stakeholders on compliance risks.

     

    Pay rate: $10 USD/hr

    Skills and Requirements

    EE/CS or related majors. Bachelor and above.

     

    5+ years working in software engineer.

     

    Solid knowledge in Java and experience in design and implementation of REST-APIs, Spring Boot.

     

    Good understanding of database principles and SQL optimization beyond just data access.

     

    AI/ML understanding - how to integrate model within an application Experience with big data technologies

    Experience with cloud vendor platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) null
