Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Division Director of Medical Transport, at Methodist Healthcare System, who in collaboration with the SVP of Operations and reporting to the AVP Patient Placement & Trauma, the Division Director of Medical Transport is responsible for effectively leading all aspects of the medical transport operations, including the operationalization of new programs, processes, and functions within the department. This position will lead hiring of staff and is responsible for the development of the team including training. The Division Director Medical Transport will assist in leading strategy across the assigned area by collaborating with division and hospital leadership to drive strategic alignment that results in enhanced outcomes for our patients. This position provides support to the SVP of Operations, and at times serving as a primary customer lead to key division and hospital leaders, as well as taking lead on requested division wide initiatives.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience.
+ In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree with 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
+ Minimum 3 years of progressive management experience in medical transportation or related hospital operations.
+ Must have held leadership positions (reflecting increasing levels of responsibility) in roles where building and leveraging key relationships was a responsibility as well as driving a strategic initiative.
Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare or business-related field preferred.
Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:
+ Current EMT-P certification or license;
+ Current Texas EMS Administrator of Record required within 30 days.
+ License/Certification is required to be maintained and in good standing.
Preferred:
+ EMT-P and Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
