    Care Center (http://carecentervets.com/)  located in Cincinnati, OH is searching for a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP)! Are you passionate about helping animals regain strength, mobility, and quality of life through a rehabilitative approach? Join a team that’s redefining recovery with advanced therapies and compassionate care.

     

    Schedule: Full-Time | Primarily Wednesday-Friday, 8am–8pm (with the potential to flex where needed based on caseload)

     

    Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate: $25-35/hr (based on experience and qualifications)

    + Acupuncture

    + Hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill)

    + Neuromuscular electrical stimulation

    + Range of motion (ROM) exercises

    + Joint mobilization/stretching

    + Photo biomodulation (Class IIIB and Class IV Laser Therapy)

    + Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy

    + Stance Analyzer

    + Massage therapy and medical massage

    + Therapeutic ultrasound

    + Dry needling

    + Customized home exercise programs

    Primary responsibilities:

    Communication

    + Deliver organized rounds and participate in collaborative case discussions

    + Keep open, clear communication with the patient care team regarding treatments, client updates, and nursing concerns

    + Educate clients on home care instructions

    + Communicate with clients via telephone an in person

    Essential Skills:

    + Technical skills

    + Anatomy and Physiology

    + Physical Rehabilitation Techniques

    + Modalities and Equipment use

    + Hydrotherapy

    + Patient Evaluation and Assessment

    + Treatment Planning

    + Orthotics, Prosthetics and Assistive Devices

    + Clinical Documentation

    + Client Communication and Education

    + Safety, Ethics and Pain Management

    + Able to maintain focus and work in a fast-paced work environment

    + Adept at problem solving

    + Basic computer skills

    Special Working Conditions

    + Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 40 pounds unassisted.

    Experience, Education and/or Training

    + Canine Rehabilitation Certification is required

    + One year working experience in veterinary medicine is required
