    Quality Technician – 1st Shift (Direct Hire)

    Manpower Engineering is seeking a skilled **Quality Technician** to join our client’s team in Mentor, OH. This is a **direct hire** opportunity on days with a well-established manufacturer specializing in stainless steel processing.

    • What You’ll Be Doing:

    + Inspect machined and incoming products against engineering drawings and specifications

    + Create and maintain product inspection documentation and forms

    + Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results

    + Manage calibration of all measurement equipment

    + Perform internal product testing and inspections

    + Maintain inventory of labels and product tags

    + Lead capability studies and Gage R&R analyses as needed

    + Inspect in-process assemblies per BOMs and part drawings

    + Document incoming inspections and scan supplier COCs into SharePoint

    + Create and review PSIRs and Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)

    + Process non-conforming material (NCMR) and scrap per company procedures

    + Develop inspection documentation for new product workflows

    + Update documentation for process changes and FIFO product

    + Review and document product returns (RMAs)

    + Support ISO compliance and follow deviation/corrective action processes

    + Collaborate with purchasing, vendors, and internal quality teams

    + Communicate quality issues promptly to customer service and vendors

    + Follow up on unresolved quality concerns
