Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Receiving Clerk/Forklift to join their team. As a Receiving Clerk/Forklift, you will be part of the operations team supporting the efficient flow of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, good hand/eye coordination, and the ability to adapt to change, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Receiving Clerk/Forklift

**Location:** West Coxsackie, NY

Pay Range:

**Shift:** Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

+ Load and unload trucks, operate a standard forklift and related equipment, moving materials throughout the plant.

+ Unload incoming materials from trailers using a forklift, check quantities and item descriptions against purchasing orders, and enter orders into the computer.

+ Organize and stock raw materials in the work area, following departmental housekeeping requirements.

+ Perform all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures, maintaining a clean workstation.

+ Conduct daily checks for maintenance and safe operation of the forklift.

What's Needed?

+ Ability to sort items with good organizational skills.

+ Prior experience and ability to drive a forklift.

+ Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules, and production tickets.

+ Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions; communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management.

+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to change.
