    The Program Coordinator II, under general supervision, works collaboratively with leadership to plan, develop and implement the Affiliate Faculty Promotion

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Four years of program coordination or closely related experience.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

    + Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

    + Verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgement.

    Responsibilities

    Affiliate Faculty Portal

    + Manages the affiliate faculty hire process, including initiating pre-employment actions, creating account credentials, and processing action items.

    + Serves as a primary contact for the affiliate faculty portal, responding to inquiries and providing guidance on trainings, tools, and program resources.

    + Develops and updates training materials and delivers training.

    + Maintains and analyzes affiliate portal records, databases, and usage statistics to support reporting and strategic planning.

    + C oordinates strategic communications and marketing efforts, participates in departmental meetings and collaborates with Faculty Affairs leadership on program development and confidential matters.

    Affiliate Faculty Promotion

    + Implement and oversee a two-cycle process for affiliate faculty promotions.

    + Manage all aspects of stakeholder communication.

    + Document creation and distribution.

    + Data management and distribution.

    Faculty Hiring

    + Assists in the oversight of College of Medicine faculty hiring and serves as main point of contact/backup when faculty hiring staff lead is out.

    + Responds to inquiries regarding hiring processes and procedures from school and university-level stakeholders.

    + Coordinates and tracks faculty hiring processes for the college

    SharePoint and Event Planning

    + Maintains department SharePoint site.

    + Annual faculty promotion event.

    + Faculty Accelerator Series.

     

    Other Duties as Assigned

     

    + Attends Faculty Affairs office meetings as needed.

    + Supervise student worker as available and needed.
