Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the fabrication department supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Welder

**Location:** Mount Vernon, IL

**Pay Range:** Competitive

What's the Job?

+ Fabricate and weld parts using MIG welding techniques with dual-shield wire.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.

+ Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating and material distortion.

+ Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

+ Provide on-the-job training to new employees and maintain a clean work area.

What's Needed?

+ Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and assembly prints.

+ Prior experience with air-arcing and using a track torch for cutting.

+ Capability to maintain and secure work tools and equipment.

+ Willingness to perform minor maintenance on machines.
