Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a BigData/Hadoop Developer to join their team. As a BigData/Hadoop Developer, you will be part of the data engineering team supporting innovative data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a solid technical background which will align successfully with the organization.

**Job Title:** BigData/Hadoop Developer

**Location:** Chandler, AZ (In-office, 3 days a week)

**Pay Range:** $57/Hour on W2

What's the Job?

+ Build and maintain data pipelines using big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark.

+ Implement data storage solutions using Amazon AWS S3, ensuring security and data service integration.

+ Design and model databases to support data engineering efforts.

+ Utilize job scheduling tools like Autosys for efficient workflow management.

+ Automate processes using Unix/shell scripting and contribute to the CI/CD pipeline.

What's Needed?

+ A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in big data technologies.

+ Proficiency in Python and Spark for data transformation and automation.

+ Strong understanding of database design principles, preferably with MySQL or similar.

+ Experience with PowerBI and Dremio for data visualization and analytics.

+ Exposure to GCP cloud data engineering is a plus, but not required.
