    OB Tech Internal Traveler Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 Full-Time Nights, 36 hours per week Pay range is between $60-$70/hr. Rates are market dependent and will be determined at the time of written offer. Boulder Community Health is seeking an OB Tech Internal Traveler who assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of all indirect patient care activities. Provides direct patient care functions to the antepartal, intrapartal and immediate postpartal patient under the direction of the RN. Assists the RN in the care of the surgical patient by the performance of routine and delegated duties. Assist the anesthesia personnel through indirect means to enhance the quality of the practice of the anesthesia department. Ages of patients service include neonate, adolescent and adult. Interacts in a respectful manner, considerate of age and physical abilities, and provides assistance to individuals in a manner that takes into account their special needs or age related needs. Benefits: •Paid sick time •403B Retirement Program •Wellness Benefits •Discounts through PerkSpot Qualifications •Must have a valid surgical technologist from the state of Colorado. •High school diploma or equivalent required. •BLS required through the American Heart Association •Certified Surgical Tech or Registered Surgical Assistant required. •Hospital or other health care experience required. •Minimum one year as an OBT or surgical tech. Responsibilities •Assesses requirements for indirect patient care activities and sets priorities for implementation. •Demonstrates competence in performing aseptic and sterile technique procedures and identifies rationale underlying the skill. •Under supervision of an RN – may collect data and provide care to patients in FAMILY BIRTH CENTER •May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer. •Demonstrates proper cleaning, restocking and setup of patient rooms, PACU or O.R. •Demonstrates competence in clerical skills, assures proper charging of supplies and equipment. •Maintains adequate levels of floor stock supplies and equipment. •Assures proper stock levels are maintained in all patient care areas and supply carts. •Demonstrates compliance to department, division and hospital policies, procedures and guidelines. •Demonstrates proper cleaning and care of instruments and equipment.
