Summary You will serve as a LEAD MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Total Force Manning Directorate (N1/N1D) of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET. Responsibilities You will serve as the Team Lead for Fleet Exercises and Joint Manning Documents management. You will evaluate/analyze the feasibility of TYCOMs, Numbered Fleets and Direct Reporters to provide personnel to satisfy specific tasking from Combatant Commanders for exercises. You will conduct analysis on issues impacting manning requirements and develop best sourcing solutions. You will develop policies and draft point papers, briefings, and staff reports for key officials. You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day duties of the exercise mission. You will provide oversight to employees in the execution of their duties. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing research, analysis, and data manipulation of Navy (Military or Civilian) Manpower programs to identify trends or deficiencies, recommend solutions to problems, or develop policy changes to ensure Fleet Exercise readiness. Education Additional Information This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Pay retention may be granted when certain conditions are met. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
