Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP& A) functions. This position is responsible for delivering meaningful insights, building robust financial models, and driving strategic initiatives that contribute to operational excellence and long-term success. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical capabilities, a keen business acumen, and the ability to communicate financial results and strategies effectively to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models, providing comprehensive forecasts and scenario analysis.
+ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
+ Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department leaders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
+ Perform in-depth variance analyses to compare actuals against budgets and forecasts and recommend actionable improvements.
+ Support strategic decision-making by preparing detailed business cases, ROI analyses, and performance metrics for potential investments and initiatives.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure financial performance goals are met.
+ Assist in financial statement preparation, compliance with regulations, and audits as necessary.
+ Identify process improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and streamline financial workflows for greater accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements
Qualifications
+ Education
+ : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required. Master’s degree or relevant certifications
+ Experience: A minimum 5+ years of financial analysis, FP& A, or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business success.
+ Technical Proficiency:
+ Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, financial modeling).
+ Experience with financial systems like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Power BI.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems or budget/planning software is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
+ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
