Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting overall supply chain operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a commitment to process accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately track and manage inventory and data using specialized software and systems.

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile stock levels with system records.

• Verify incoming shipments against invoices and ensure proper documentation.

• Organize storage areas to optimize space and facilitate easy access to inventory.

• Identify and report discrepancies or issues in inventory to relevant departments.

• Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to maintain adequate stock levels.

• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in the warehouse environment.

• Process and document returns or exchanges in alignment with company policies.

• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and transportation providers.

• Prepare and deliver inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and observations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory/ data entry management or a related field.

• Proficiency in inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

• Familiarity with tools such as Cerner Technologies, Epic Software, and ADP Financial Services.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Basic math skills for calculating stock levels and reconciling discrepancies.

• Ability to create and interpret charts, graphs, and reports.

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.

• Experience with clerical duties, auditing processes, and inbound call handling.
