Description

We are looking for an experienced attorney with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M& A) and technology law to join our client's dynamic Alternative Business Structure law firm in Tempe, Arizona. This unique role combines traditional legal practice with opportunities to collaborate on innovative AI-driven solutions for the legal industry. The position offers a hybrid work structure, blending client interaction with in-house responsibilities and technology integration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel on corporate and commercial transactions, focusing on mergers and acquisitions.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of AI technology into legal processes.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across various industries, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Act as a trusted advisor for technology-related legal matters, including product counsel responsibilities.

• Support the development and implementation of innovative flat-rate billing structures.

• Work closely with the compliance officer and other team members to maintain regulatory standards.

• Contribute to the growth and success of the firm by leveraging expertise in emerging technologies.

• Participate in hybrid work arrangements, including in-office collaboration three days per week.

• Assist in the establishment and expansion of the firm's operations in the new office space.

• Maintain a proactive approach to client management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Requirements • Must be a licensed attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience.

• Extensive expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M& A) and corporate transactions.

• Familiarity with emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.

• Proven experience working within a technology company or similar environment.

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage hybrid work schedules, including both in-office and remote tasks.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration.

• Commitment to innovation and adapting to new legal technologies.
