Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Arden Hills, Minnesota. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and distribute comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages, including consolidated profit and loss statements, variance analyses, and key performance metrics.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with leadership and department heads to align financial goals.
• Evaluate performance trends, including cost drivers, revenue patterns, and segment profitability, to uncover actionable insights.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling for capital investments, pricing strategies, and other strategic initiatives.
• Support integration efforts for new business acquisitions, ensuring alignment in financial reporting structures and forecasting models.
• Collaborate with operational, sales, and purchasing leaders to translate business activities into meaningful financial insights.
• Work with the Accounting team to ensure accurate month-end accruals, account classifications, and consistent reporting practices.
• Develop and implement improvements to financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and templates.
• Assist in preparing financial presentations for board meetings, lenders, and other external stakeholders. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or business analytics.
• Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling, with the ability to handle large datasets and create dynamic models.
• Proven experience in preparing management reporting packages and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting methods, and variance analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and various departments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical rigor, and proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-location organizations, preferably within industries such as construction, distribution, or project-driven businesses.
