Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Closer to join our team in Encino, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of loan closing processes, from document verification to final submission. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of closed loan files to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company, investor, and regulatory standards.

• Validate executed documents, such as promissory notes, deeds of trust, and closing disclosures, ensuring all underwriting and closing conditions are met.

• Prepare and submit loan files to investors or government agencies for final approval and funding.

• Maintain detailed records of post-closing activities and follow up on any deficiencies or missing documentation.

• Investigate and resolve post-closing errors or discrepancies in collaboration with title companies, attorneys, and funding teams.

• Respond promptly to requests from investors or agencies for additional information or documentation.

• Organize and upload loan documents into the company’s system to ensure proper tracking and compliance.

• Ensure original documents are securely stored and delivered to appropriate parties within required deadlines. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage closing or loan processing.

• Strong knowledge of loan origination systems, including Encompass.

• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and investor requirements for loan documentation.

• Proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in loan files.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial documents.
