Description We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Glendora, California. This is a Contract-to-long-term position where you will gain hands-on experience in mutual fund administration and client servicing. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and offers opportunities to develop expertise in compliance, reporting, and fund management.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor mutual fund holdings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, prospectus disclosures, and organizational requirements.

• Assist in preparing monthly liquidity reports and fair valuation records.

• Compile and review required information for registration statements and related documentation.

• Support the preparation of income estimates and memos for fund distributions.

• Review statistical data and fund factsheets for accuracy and submission to industry tracking organizations.

• Prepare reports for board books and coordinate proxy voting filings.

• Manage startup activities for new funds, including obtaining necessary identifiers and registering funds with industry databases.

• Collaborate on special projects to enhance fund administration processes. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines efficiently.

• Excellent communication and writing skills to deliver clear and concise information.

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with mutual funds, registration statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
