    Job Title: Data Migration Specialist (Contract)

     

    Contract Length: 2.5 years

     

    Pay Rate: $30–$35/hr W2

    Job Description:

    Seeking a detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist for a long-term (2.5-year) contract role focused on data review, error identification, and validation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Execute data migration tasks, ensuring accurate and complete data transfers.

    + Perform data mapping between legacy systems and target platforms.

    + Use SQL and Excel to analyze datasets and validate migration results.

    + Review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results to identify and resolve data-related issues.

    + Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth data transitions.

    Requirements

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    • Proven experience with data migration projects.

    • Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.

    • Hands-on experience with data mapping.

    • Ability to review and troubleshoot UAT results for errors.

    Nice-to-Have (Bonus):

    • Prior experience on payroll system projects.

    Additional Notes:

    + Onsite position in Los Angeles County, CA.

    + No system configuration responsibilities.
