Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will handle invoicing, collections, and financial analysis to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of billing processes while maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate invoices in alignment with established procedures and specific client requirements.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring timely communication with clients and internal teams.

• Manage complex billing projects, including compiling reconciliations and adhering to nonstandard requirements.

• Upload invoices into client-specific systems promptly and ensure proper documentation of all submissions.

• Analyze financial reports to assess project invoicing and address over or under-billing issues.

• Conduct follow-ups on high-value invoices to confirm receipt and address outstanding balances.

• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders during monthly collections meetings.

• Respond to customer and regional inquiries, providing solutions and escalating concerns when necessary.

• Support audits by providing accurate documentation and assisting with reconciliations.

• Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to enhance processes and resolve challenges. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced mathematical reasoning.

• Familiarity with accounting and contracting software programs.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle client interactions professionally.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.

• Experience managing complex billing and reconciliations.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver tailored solutions.
