Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a temporary role with one of our trusted healthcare clients. This position will focus on supporting the medical collections team with high-volume data entry and documentation tasks. While prior healthcare experience is not required, strong data accuracy and organizational skills are essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Enter and update patient billing and insurance information into internal systems

Assist with organizing and tracking outstanding medical receivables

Log collection activity notes and follow-up actions with accuracy and timeliness

Review, verify, and maintain payment records and documentation

Support special projects to reduce backlog and ease team workload

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in data entry, preferably in a medical or billing environment

Familiarity with medical billing or collections processes is a plus

Excellent typing speed and data accuracy

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks

Available for a 90–120 day temporary assignment
