Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Scheduler to join our team in Westport, Connecticut. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient coordination of home care services for clients in assisted living environments. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring caregivers are scheduled promptly and effectively while maintaining high standards of client care.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the scheduling of caregivers to provide home care services to clients, ensuring timely placements.

• Manage appointment bookings and resolve last-minute scheduling conflicts with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

• Maintain accurate records of caregiver assignments and availability to optimize scheduling efficiency.

• Handle inbound calls professionally, providing excellent customer service to clients and caregivers.

• Assist in payroll-related tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling adjustments, including scenarios requiring replacements.

• Participate in on-call scheduling rotation approximately once every eight weeks to address urgent needs.

• Support the growth of the client base by adapting scheduling processes to accommodate increasing demand.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and operations.

• Train new staff in scheduling procedures and system usage, fostering a knowledgeable and capable team. Requirements • Proven experience in scheduling, coordination, or similar roles, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle inbound calls and address client inquiries effectively.

• Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems and processes; training can be provided.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple caregivers and clients efficiently.

• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle last-minute scheduling changes.

• Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations and address urgent scheduling needs.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and caregivers.

• Background in healthcare or home care scheduling is highly desirable but not mandatory. TalentMatch®
