Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing inventory data and ensuring the accuracy of records using advanced software tools. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in inventory management who thrives in a fast-paced, wholesale distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory using specialized software and database systems.

• Conduct regular physical counts to ensure system inventory aligns with actual stock.

• Process orders and verify incoming shipments against invoices to confirm accuracy.

• Organize storage areas to optimize efficiency and ease of item retrieval.

• Identify and report inventory discrepancies to relevant departments for resolution.

• Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.

• Adhere to safety and health guidelines when managing warehouse equipment.

• Handle documentation and processing of returned goods.

• Communicate with suppliers and transport companies to coordinate deliveries.

• Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, supply chain activities, and procedural efficiency for management review

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory/ data management or a related role.

• Proficiency in inventory management software such as ERP systems and Cerner Technologies.

• Familiarity with financial services tools, including ADP and Epic Software.

• Strong organizational and auditing skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to create charts, graphs, and reports to present data effectively.

• Experience in clerical duties and answering inbound calls.

• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams and external partners.

• Basic math skills for inventory calculations and reconciliation tasks.
