Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to oversee the financial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and the finance team to ensure projects stay on budget and meet financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses, and billing

+ Prepare and maintain accurate project cost reports and forecasts

+ Review and process project-related invoices and purchase orders

+ Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end close

+ Analyze project variances and provide recommendations for cost control

+ Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

+ Support audits and provide financial data as needed

+ Maintain proper documentation and records for each project

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 2–4 years of experience in project accounting or cost accounting

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/project management software

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

+ Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, or professional services is a plus
