Description

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Finance Manager Consultant to support our privately held equipment rental client based in Santa Fe Springs, California for a 2+ month on-site engagement. The consultant will be responsible for developing complex financial reporting schedules using Excel, Fabric and Power BI Tools. The consultant will prepare KPI reports and Dashboards by customer, product, division, etc. Complete monthly financial analysis, variance and trend analysis with appropriate commentary. Provide schedules and commentary with respect to Monthly Management Reporting Packs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial reporting schedules using advanced Microsoft Excel, Fabric, and Power BI tools.

• Create operational, reporting, and customer-focused dashboards to provide data-driven insights across divisions and products.

• Conduct monthly financial analysis, including variance and trend assessments, and provide clear commentary to support findings.

• Prepare schedules and commentary for Monthly Management Reporting Packs to enhance decision-making processes.

• Analyze large datasets to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting outputs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial work products through self-validation and attention to detail.

• Adapt to fast-paced environments and ad-hoc requests, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting roles.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data management and visualization.

• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Fabric

• Familiarity with D365 Business Central is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to verify the accuracy of own work.

• Experience thriving in dynamic, fast-paced, and startup-like environments.
