Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Staff member to join our team in Sherman Oaks, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in individual and corporate tax return preparation, who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely tax filings while providing exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns with precision and adherence to relevant regulations.

• Conduct thorough research on tax laws to ensure compliance and identify potential savings opportunities.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and address inquiries regarding their tax filings.

• Utilize ProSeries software to streamline tax preparation processes and maintain organized records.

• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation to provide informed recommendations and solutions.

• Assist in resolving tax-related issues, including audits and discrepancies, by providing expert guidance.

• Maintain clear communication with team members and clients to ensure seamless handling of tax matters.

• Participate in continuous training and development to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.

• Contribute to improving internal processes for greater efficiency in tax preparation and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.

• Proficiency in using ProSeries or similar tax preparation software.

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA certification or progress toward obtaining it is preferred.
