Amazon Business (AB) is seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to lead our fast-paced Public Sector division. In this pivotal business partnership role, you'll drive strategic insights to shape our growth strategy, own end-to-end P&L management, and conduct financial assessments of multi-million-dollar deals. As a strategic partner to the Director of Public Sector Education, you'll lead Financial Planning cycles and develop high-velocity growth strategies while establishing scalable KPIs to drive business success. This role requires exceptional analytical and communication skills to influence senior leadership up to VP level. The role will collaborate across Sales Operations, Pricing, DEX, Services, and BI teams in developing new programs and sales motions to accelerate growth. Success in this role demands strong business acumen to evaluate ROI on bespoke customer deals and a deep curiosity to understand customer needs. The role will engage with Go-To-Market Sales Operations, Pricing, DEX, Services and BI teams to develop new programs and sales motions to accelerate growth. You'll have the opportunity to grow in our fast-paced, customer-facing environment, leveraging your strategic thinking and bias for action to make a significant impact on our business.
Key job responsibilities
• Be a strategic partner for the Director of Public Sector, Education segment, providing critical insights and financial stewardship over Topline and P&L metrics
• Spearhead Financial Planning processes (3YF/OP/Guidance cycles) and lead Monthly Financial reviews with CPS Directors and VP
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PubSec Sales, Go-To-Market Operations, AB Pricing, DEX, and Services teams on deep dives/insights and strategic initiatives
• Shape pivotal business decisions through data-driven analysis and adept presentation of strategic options and investment opportunities to Senior Leadership

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Data Analyses (SQL)
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or CPA
- Financial Modeling and Forecasting. Long Range Planning.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
