    Summary of Role:

    Sustain production line, daily statistical process control (SPC) monitoring, Cpk improvement, and troubleshooting for process and tool issues in support of semiconductor manufacturing efforts.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Sustain production line, daily statistical process control (SPC) monitoring, Cpk improvement, and troubleshooting for process and tool issues in support of semiconductor manufacturing efforts. Work on tool set up, qualification, and tool matching. Improve process robustness for high-volume manufacturing using statistical tools, design of experiment (DOE) techniques, data driven decision-making and systematic problem-solving skills. Use lean manufacturing and Six Sigma processes. Design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop advanced Middle-of-line (MOL), and back-end-of-line (BEOL) PVD processes to meet technology (e.g. performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g. process stability, cost of ownership) targets. Support the Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technology meets qualification and reliability requirements.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related field of study.

    • Experience – 2 years of experience in the job offered, as a Process Engineer or related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience in: 1) SPC tools; (2) structured problem solving; (3) FMEA line yield improvements; (4) Creating and improving Corrective Action Specifications; (5) Design of Experiments (DOE) and JMP; (6) Tool matching and performance improvements; (7) Semiconductor etch equipment; (8) plasma techniques.

     

    Salary range: $95,181 – $119,000
