The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for an Audio Visual Programmer to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
The Audio Visual Programmer Technician will support VTC hardware and software for various networks, including operating and maintaining common-user VTC suites, providing access for VTC and secure phone equipment, and offering design and installation advice. They will also coordinate VTC Bridge usage across multiple sessions and assist end users with setting up accounts on desktop applications.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Provide Tier 1 level technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of VTC equipment and software.
+ Align managed systems, including Windows Operating Systems, images, containers, PODs, and Nodes, with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and security requirements to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards for registered applications within the network.
+ Coordinate and maintain the conference room scheduler for the main service Center conference rooms that require video teleconferencing (VTC) support.
+ Assist users with reserving, training, and hosting Teams Live Events (such as town halls and educational sessions), as well as supporting live events in local on-site auditoriums and large event spaces.
+ Coordinate, implement, and run classified video teleconferences.
+ Assist customers in securing conference cards via the teleconference card process, assist with tracking user accounts, and elevate issues.
+ Coordinate, implement, and run classified video teleconferences.
+ Provide technical support and assistance in the design, acquisition, installation, and operation of the equipment.
+ Develop SOPs on an as-needed basis.
+ Provide 99.0% uptime of telecommunications systems during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1800, and infrequent support outside normal business hours.
+ Monitor, claim, update, and complete customer requests through the CIO Portal ticketing system by gathering information, conducting research, and corresponding with customers as required
+ Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
+ Bachelor’s degree from accredited university preferred in:
+ Electronics Technology
+ Audio/Visual Technology
+ Information Technology
+ Telecommunications
+ Computer Science
+ Related technical field
+ Hold valid IAT Level II or IAM level I baseline certification, including Security+ CE.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Effective oral and written communication skills
+ Live within commuting distance of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure/AWS is preferred
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen
+ An active Top Secret (SCI) clearance is required
