About the role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by performing, writing and developing code. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare team and work collaboratively with managers, stakeholders and other teams.

In this role, you will:

+ Participate in business and functional requirement gatherings by understanding constantly changing healthcare business needs.

+ Develop applications, interfaces and tools by producing clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code by using Cognizant and client established best practice methods.

+ Design cost effective applications and interfaces to fulfill complex objects of the projects.

+ Writes and verifies code which adheres to the acceptance criteria for the agile features

+ Automate unit testing tasks through appropriate testing frameworks.

+ Perform application security testing and static code analysis using sonar to identify and fix security vulnerabilities in the project applications.

**Work model:** Hybrid | Herndon, VA

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Herndon, Virginia. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered

+ 8+ years of Java Experience

+ Strong knowledge in Java, with Java11.

+ Solid experience with Spring Boot, React JS.

+ Expertise in Microservices.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
