At Helena Public Schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a temporary guest Counselor, you will work as part of a dynamic team that serves our Elementary school students at Warren. This position is anticipated to serve a temporary teaching contract from August 2025-November 2025 and scheduled for 7 hours a day. Starting base daily rate is $229.26-$362.30 based on education and experience in addition to a competitive pro-rated benefit plan including but not limited to sick and personal leave, health benefit plan with options for dental and vision coverage, life insurance, a section 125 plan, numerous tax sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement. + Teach district approved curriculum.

+ Develop lesson plans and instructional material.

+ Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

Who we are looking for: To become part of this dedicated team, you must have a Class six (6) Montana Specialist Certificate with a school counselor endorsement. The ideal candidate will possess at least a year of successful Counseling Experience at the Elementary level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
