    Job Summary:

    An Internship with us will provide valuable hands-on experience to help you launch your career in industrial research.

    As an Edison Research Intern, you will:

    + Apply your academic knowledge and experience to real-life technical problems.

    + Develop your research skills in a collaborative workplace.

    + Participate in professional development & networking opportunities that enhance your functional and communication skills.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Current or upcoming enrollment in a full-time Masters Degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or related STEM discipline.

    + A passion for research and development, critical thinking, scientific reasoning, data analytics and interpretation and teamwork.

    + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

    + Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY.

    Desired Characteristics:

    + Exceptional academic performance with demonstrated research experience.

    + Prior internship or co-op experience in an industrial research environment

    The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position will be posted until at least 7/22/2025.
