As a **Mainframe** End to End Testing (Frontend), you will make an impact by giving playing a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and system integrity contributing to the company mission of delivering reliable and secure payment

In this role, you will:

+ Demonstrate a high level of understanding of AIX/Linux operating systems and HPE Nonstop (Tandem), mainframe computer operations and familiarity with JCL a plus.

+ Have the experience supporting OLTP applications on HPE Nonstop (Tandem) systems, including Guardian/OSS, TACL, Pathway, Enscribe. Proficient in technical operations analyst support and root cause analysis.

+ Have awareness of AWS platforms with tech stack that includes C, C++, COBOL, Java programming languages and databases like SQL/MP, DB2, Oracle, RDS Postgres.

+ Capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced highly technical environment.

+ Ability to communicate and report detailed technical information/issues to management, following the appropriate escalation procedures.

+ Adept at troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems in a highly demanding and challenging environment, enhancing computer operations procedures, and reengineering operation processes to increase efficiency.

What you need to have to be considered

+ Experience in CICS and CA7 recycle with 8-10 years of experience having basic knowledge in COBOL and expert knowledge with CA7.

+ Ability to communicate and report detailed technical information/issues to management, following the appropriate escalation procedures.

+ Adept at troubleshooting and resolving highly complex technical problems in a highly demanding and challenging environment, enhancing computer operations procedures, and reengineering operation processes to increase efficiency.

+ Expert knowledge of CA-7 scheduler to support batch processing cycles and Connect Direct/NDM to support transmissions

+ Possess strong expertise in Mainframe SCM administration particularly with ISPW Changeman and Endeavor.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in z/OS Administration ensuring robust system management and support.

+ Have a solid understanding of the Cards & Payments domain with experience in relevant industry practices.

+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

+ Show strong communication skills capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

+ Display a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.

+ Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field.

Certifications Required

Certified Mainframe Professional z/OS Certified Administrator

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until July 22, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 to $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
