As a **End to end testing (Backend - Settlement)** , you will make an impact by giving technical support. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Banking and Financial team.
In this role, you will:
-The client provide the SOP, and the team will follow the steps mentioned in the SOP.
-Mainframe platform batch and CICS with DB2 processing and front-end support engaging with development to resolve E2E environment related issues impacting client testing cycles.
-Monitor E2E batch flow to ensure batch streams are processing on time, identify issues that require corrective action and follow up for resolution.
-Serve as an escalation point for client issues related to the E2E environment.
-Analyze documentation supporting changes in a complex E2E environment.
-Performing root cause analysis, first level investigation, escalation and resolution of batch job failures in a timely manner.
-Ensure E2E client service level agreements are attained
-Troubleshoot and restore service to batch processing on mainframe using industry accepted techniques and procedures.
-Implement appropriate corrective actions to eliminate recurring batch job failures, coordinating, monitoring, approving change related activities, performing training and coaching for less experienced team members, update procedures as changes occur and deficiencies are identified.
-Monitor and support transmissions, replay/retransmit files as needed
-Able to initiate bridge calls when multiple application and support teams require direct communication between each other to resolve problems.
-Capable of promoting Incidents to Incident Management for a severe issue where production is impacted.
-Ability to page out Application Teams for batch issues/abends and page additional Application Teams/additional resources when needed.
-team will escalate to Client L3 team for any unresolved issues

What you need to have to be considered
+ Experience in mainframe computer operations processes and familiar with JCL, technical operations analyst support, root cause analysis and addressing batch job failures in a multiple CPU platform environment.
+ Capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced highly technical environment.
+ Ability to communicate and report detailed technical information/issues to management, following the appropriate escalation procedures.
+ Adept at troubleshooting and resolving highly complex technical problems in a highly demanding and challenging environment, enhancing computer operations procedures, and reengineering operation processes to increase efficiency.
+ Be familiar with CA-7 scheduler to support batch processing cycles and Connect Direct/NDM to support transmissions
+ Possess strong expertise in Mainframe SCM administration particularly with ISPW Changeman and Endevor.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in z/OS Administration ensuring robust system management and support.
+ Have a solid understanding of the Cards & Payments domain with experience in relevant industry practices.
+ Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until July 21, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 to $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
