    Residential Behavioral Specialist

     

    ***$4,000 SIGN ON BONUS***

     

    First $2,000 distributed at 30 days, Second $2,000 distributed at 6 months!

     

    In this important role, the Residential Behavior Specialist provides direct clinical assessment and intervention for individuals of the program. Assists in developing Behavior Support Plans with individual and support staff, including periodic reviews of treatment plan.

    The Residential Behavior Specialist:

    + Provides direct therapeutic intervention, consultation, training and education to families.

    + Collaborates with treatment team and other providers to establish treatment plan and disposition.

    + Provides services at clients’ residences, day programs or vocational programs as needed

    + Completes all clinical documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, etc. as required by the program, funding sources and regulatory agencies in a complete, accurate and timely manner and in compliance with agency and relevant state protocol.

    + Meets productivity levels, as set by Program Director and the Division Director.

     

    Schedule: Monday through Fri 9am-5pm (40 hrs)

     

    Salary: $70,000/year

     

    Catchment areas: Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Medford, Reading

    Required Skills

    + Must be able to work as a member of a team and to function independently

    + Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and access to a reliable vehicle

    Required Experience

    • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling or Applied Behavior Analysis required

    • At least two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
