THE ROLE: SENIOR CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGER
As a Senior Creative Project Manager, you are a strategic thinker, analytical problem-solver, and creative thought leader who brings structure and clarity to complex, fast-moving creative initiatives. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the end-to-end management of high-impact creative projects—ranging from innovation launches and packaging updates to integrated brand campaigns and go-to-market strategies. The bread and butter of this role will primarily focus on packaging workflows so a deep understanding of packaging and print process will be key to success. With a sharp focus on optimizing workflows and aligning cross-functional teams, you will define strategic approaches that fuel operational efficiency and elevate creative output. You’ll develop scalable processes, lead project prioritization, and ensure each initiative delivers against both creative and business goals. As a strategic liaison between internal teams and external partners, you will proactively communicate progress, mitigate risks, and champion collaboration across all touchpoints. This role reports directly to the Senior Creative Operations Director and plays a critical role in evolving our studio into a high-performing, insight-driven creative engine.
• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Strategically manage and oversee end-to-end creative project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand vision.
+ Leverage data-driven insights and critical thinking to assess project viability, prioritize competing demands, and anticipate potential challenges.
+ Translate high-level business needs into actionable creative plans, often clarifying ambiguous project briefs through deep discovery and stakeholder alignment.
+ Build and optimize robust project workflows, frameworks, and tracking systems to improve speed, transparency, and accountability across teams.
+ Track creative KPIs against each project and provide meaningful insights into ways of working while recommending optimizations to workflows or approaches.
+ Act as the strategic conduit between the creative team and key internal/external stakeholders—ensuring clear communication, streamlined feedback loops, and timely execution.
+ Lead risk assessment and proactively resolve bottlenecks, escalating issues with clarity and solutions in mind.
+ Facilitate collaborative decision-making with a focus on creative excellence, resource efficiency, and brand integrity.
+ Serve as a process innovator and thought partner, consistently identifying opportunities to refine creative operations and scale impact.
+ Foster a dynamic, empowered studio culture, inspiring cross-functional teams to produce bold, brand-building creative work.

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
+ 7–10 years of creative project management experience leading complex, high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution; CPG or consumer brand experience is a strong plus
+ Proven ability to influence across functions, build alignment, and confidently push back when needed to protect project integrity and drive strategic outcomes
+ Expert in prioritization, orchestration, and resource planning—able to unblock teams, navigate shifting timelines, and consistently deliver high-quality work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
+ Strong cross-channel experience spanning packaging, digital, retail, advertising, marketing, social, and print
+ Skilled in leading end-to-end campaign development, including photoshoots and video production
+ A critical and strategic thinker who can break down complexity, identify patterns, and develop clear, actionable solutions
+ Comfortable toggling between big-picture strategy and day-to-day execution, with a proven ability to operate at both levels seamlessly
+ Excellent communication skills—clear, persuasive, and thoughtful. A strong listener who can synthesize feedback and navigate nuanced conversations with ease
+ Highly self-motivated, organized, and proactive—known for operating with speed, clarity, and calm under pressure
+ Deep understanding of design, production, and print workflows, with the ability to anticipate and troubleshoot challenges early
+ Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance precision and vision, ensuring work is both beautiful and strategically sound
+ Solid command of project management best practices, methodologies, and systems
+ Strong visual sensibility and an intuitive grasp of brand identity, typography, and creative nuance
+ Technically adept—fluent in Wrike, Microsoft Office, Bynder (DAM), Ziflow (Proofing)
+ A team player. Duh.
• THE DETAILS
HOURS: 40 hours/week, 12-month temporary position
MANAGER: Sr. Creative Operations Director
The pay range for this position is $65-70 /hour dependent on experience.
