Senior Manager Project Engineering – Platform

The **Senior Manager Project Engineering – Platform** is responsible for supervising a team of Project Leaders that lead delivery of our Core Technologies through Platforms that enable our NPD teams.

You’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

+ Lead and inspire a team of project leaders and engineers in a fast-paced and highly innovative environment.

+ Champion Milwaukee Tool’s user-first mindset, ensuring that engineering solutions directly enhance the end-user experience.

+ Foster a culture of urgency and extreme ownership.

+ Collaborate with Product, Platform, NPD, Digital, & Operational teams to ensure seamless & scalable platform integration across the business.

+ Lead a team that is the key liaison between engineering and executive leadership, providing clear updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.

+ Regularly present project status, schedule updates, and financial updates to stakeholders.

+ Recruit, develop, and coach team members.

+ Coach team to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

+ Develop resource plans. Align cross functionally to identify bottlenecks and roadblocks in project planning.

+ Identify and mitigate technical and programmatic risks early and effectively.

+ Develop and improve business and department processes.

+ Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and the general business climate in the power tool industry.

What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Graduate studies are preferred in technical or business fields such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering Management, Business, or Marketing.

+ Minimum 10 years engineering experience in related field.

+ Proven track record of managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

+ Strong ability to coach, develop, and grow your team.

+ Ability to synthesize business needs with technology opportunities and lead the org to execute.
