Minimum Qualifications
Six years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time work experience plus three years of social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus three years of social services experience; OR
A master's degree in social work, a social science, education, counseling or vocational rehabilitation plus two years of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Provided direct-line supervision of Adult Protection Specialist through supervisory conferences, case staffing, etc.
+ Interprets and oversees compliance with agency, state, and federal policies, such as HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
+ Responsible for file maintenance.
+ Conducts educational presentations or in-service trainings for community groups, agencies, providers, etc., on adult abuse, neglect, exploitation, and extortion on the role of Adult Protection Services.
Other information:
Extensive travel to Evangeline, St. Landry, Acadia, Lafayette, St. Martin, Vermillion, Iberia, St. Mary.
