    Service Technician

    Job Description

    Join a leading manufacturer of high-pressure water jetting equipment as a Service Technician. With a focus on precision engineering and **diesel engine or automotive maintenance** optimization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of world-class service to our clients. This full-time position is available on the day shift at our Crown Point location.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide technical service, troubleshooting, and customer training for hydro blast pumps and accessories.

    + Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Travel for service duties, including working overtime and taking weekend/off-hour calls.

    + Maintain strong customer relations and communication with both internal and external customers.

    + Perform equipment repairs and check-ups post-rental.

    + Participate in a one-year training program, including hands-on service calls.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.

    + Experience in hydraulics, basic electrical, or pneumatics.

    + Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

    + Proficiency in customer relations and communication.

    + Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record.

    + Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for an entire shift.

    + Possession of own hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + **Experience as an automotive or diesel engine technician.**

    + Comfortable with 50% travel requirements.

    + Ability to obtain a CDL driver's license.

    + High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
