Job Title: Soldering Technician

Job Description

Engage in precise soldering work under a microscope, focusing on small PCB boards. You will primarily handle soldering but will also participate in assembly and production tasks. Your role includes inspecting and verifying solder joints under magnification.

Responsibilities

+ Perform soldering tasks under a microscope with small PCB boards.

+ Conduct assembly and production tasks as needed.

+ Inspect and verify solder joints using magnification tools.

+ Handle through-hole and surface mount technologies such as CGA and Column Grid Array.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in soldering with at least 3 years of experience.

+ Skilled in assembly and handling small PCB boards.

+ Experience with electrical component assembly and production.

+ Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.

+ Ability to work with small hand tools such as tweezers, hot air gun, and soldering iron.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ IPC and J-Certs preferred but not mandatory.

+ Excellent attention to detail and steady hands are crucial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Marina Del Rey, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
