    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining blow molding and injection molding machines. These machines are used for manufacturing hollow plastic products such as bottles, containers, and other items. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate blow molding machines according to production specifications.

    + Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality.

    + Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

    + Trim excess material and regrind scrap for reuse.

    + Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.

    + Document production data, including machine settings and output.

    + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production.

    + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with injection molding and machine operation.

    + Knowledge of plastic molding and mechanical processes.

    + Proficiency in operating injection molding machines.

    + Ability to work with plastic injection techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

    + Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.

    Work Environment

     

    Typical manufacturing environment with non-climate controlled areas. Shift times are available for 1st (7a-3:30p M-F), 2nd (3p-11:30p M-F), and 3rd (11p-7:30a M-F) shifts. Employees work at least one weekend day each week, determined by Wednesday of each week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sherman, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.35/hr.
