Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in a manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate a spray painter within an industrial setting, painting both components and finished products before they are dispatched to customers. You will also be responsible for moving products to and from the paint booth using a forklift and/or pallet jack.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a spray painter to apply industrial paint to components and finished products.

+ Mix paint according to specifications and ensure the unit is fully painted in the spray booth.

+ Transport painted items out of the booth using forklift or pallet jack.

+ Prepare surfaces for painting and ensure quality of finish.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in painting, paint preparation, and industrial painting.

+ Ability to use a spray gun effectively.

+ 2+ years of experience in spray painting within an industrial setting.

+ Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.

+ Ownership of steel-toed footwear.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM, consisting of 10-hour workdays. There may be occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
