    Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team for an exciting first-of-its-kind project in Red Oak, Texas. This industrial/commercial role offers a unique opportunity to work on modular data centers in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The position is available for a duration of three months and involves collaboration with a team of 20 other journeyman electricians.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.

    + Work individually or collaboratively to complete projects successfully.

    + Follow safety procedures and adhere to electrical codes.

    + Interpret technical documents accurately for assignment execution.

    + Conduct quality assurance inspections and measures.

    + Ensure administrative processes, including torque sheets, 5S methodology, and tool inventory/tracking are maintained.

    + Lead and promote a 'Safety first' culture by implementing safety policies and conducting audits.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

    + Associate degree or trade school certification in a related field.

    + Certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program or journeyman experience.

    + Knowledge of pertinent electrical codes and regulations.

    + Industrial or commercial electrical experience.

    + Ability to understand schematics and technical documents.

    + Skill in bending conduit and installing large cables.

    + Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work on ladders.

    + Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and sit for extended periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + OSHA10 and/or OSHA30 certification.

    + Journeyman Electrician License.

    + Proficiency in reading schematics and electronics.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a climate-controlled, manufacturing environment alongside 20 other journeyman electricians. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves physical activities such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and sitting for extended periods. Overtime is available depending on business volume.

    This is a Contract position based out of Red Oak, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
