Job Title: Automotive Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled mechanics to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of cars, trucks, and diesel engine vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to work across three levels of mechanics, each providing unique challenges and experiences.

Responsibilities

+ Class A: Perform complete overhauls of diesel and gas trucks, including tearing down engines and transmissions, replacing bearing kits, working on upper oil pans on diesel engines, and handling brakes and alignment.

+ Class B: Conduct repairs on brakes, lights, electrical systems, safety checks, DOT compliance, tune-ups, hanging EGR valves, upper-level turbo, actuator work, and software updates on the fleet.

+ Class C: Carry out tire rotations, oil changes, preventative maintenance, and pre-delivery inspections.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic

+ Proficiency in diesel troubleshooting, mechanical diagnosis, and repair

+ Electrical system knowledge

+ Experience with hydraulics and preventive maintenance

+ Automotive repair skills

+ Understanding of pneumatics

+ Welding capabilities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of experience as an auto mechanic

Work Environment

Work on the 2nd shift from 1:30pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work. The shop features 24 bays, providing ample space and resources to perform your duties effectively.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
