Job Description

The Shop Helper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the facility and CNC machine tools, both inside and out. As a valued member of the facilities team, this role involves performing daily preventative maintenance on machine tools and ensuring the manufacturing floor and exterior areas are clean and safe for production staff.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and CNC machine tools.

+ Perform daily preventative maintenance on machine tools.

+ Ensure the manufacturing floor and exterior areas are clean and safe for production staff.

Essential Skills

+ 2 years of experience in industrial custodian positions in similar industries.

+ Proficiency in using computers and office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Experience in production, general labor, inspection, industrial, custodial, CNC operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to operate computers efficiently.

+ Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, and warehouse production environments.

Work Environment

This position is based in a machine shop environment with approximately 55 people, where teamwork and attention to detail are highly valued.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morgan Hill, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
